Shareholders from both companies are pleased to announce the final signature of the contract concluding the acquisition of Eris Informatique by DATAFIRST.
An alliance which makes the DATAFIRST Group market leader
The transaction seals an alliance which means the DATAFIRST group becomes the N°1 French editor of IT solutions for automotive distributors, with 20000 users in France.
The growing market share is particularly notable within the Volkswagen Group, Toyota, Kia and Hyundai brand networks. The acquisition also enables DATAFIRST to take up position on the HGV/Trucks market where Eris Motors is already present.
Synergy between teams
Since the announcement which was made in April, a new organisation has being gradually put in place, without any major changes, in order to facilitate the transition period and promote synergy between the two teams.
A central sales department led by Philippe Dressy has been formed and is made up of actors from both entities, so as to ensure a consistent sales approach.
The Development and Service departments will remain independent with skills transfers taking place in order to promote collaboration and versatility across our product range.
As of July, the Eris Informatique sales team will be trained on DataCar CRM, DataCar B.I and DataCar Websites, whose interfaces with Eris Motors are currently under development.
Office moves have begun with a number of Eris Informatique employees now working from our Massy offices.
The Lyon team based in St Priest will join the DATAFIRST HQ offices as of September. The Aix en Provence, Toulouse and Strasbourg offices , as well as the development centre in Caen, will remain open.
The DATAFIRST and Eris manegement teams will continue visiting distribution groups who use Eris Motors in order to renew their commitment to maintaining current solutions and the excellent quality of service customers have become accustomed to, and accompanying customers in their business development by proposing a wider range of solutions that they can now benefit from, thanks to the alliance.
